HAMDEN LAND RECORDS ARE NOW ON-LINE!

As Of March 25, 2020, Hamden’s Land  records are now on-line.  Go to uslandrecords.com to search, view and copy.  Tax and sewer liens are not part of this index.

Tax liens are only released by Tax Collector.  To see current tax status: go to www.hamden.com to “Online Tax Payment”.  

Sewer liens are only released by Greater New Haven WPCA.  For current sewer lien status: call GNHWPCA at (203) 776-3570.  See link for GNHWPCA

 

THE TOWN HALL IS CURRENTLY IN LOCKDOWN, AVAILABLE ONLY TO Designated ESSENTIAL STAFF DURING VERY LIMITED HOURS

Land Recordings will only be accepted by USPS, courier service or in locked Drop Box marked “Town Clerk” outside Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06518.    Recordings are input in order of receipt.  Recording receipt information can only be provided at time of recording with a self-addressed envelope.  See link for 2020 Fee Schedule.

Governor’s Exec Order No. 71, paragraph 19h allows electronic transmission of service to town clerks.  For the Town of Hamden, please send to townclerk@hamden.com

Civil litigation must be mailed to Town Clerk, Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518 or placed in locked drop box for processing.  Stamped Receipt will only be sent with a self addressed stamped envelope.
