Dr. Anthony Prezioso and Staff welcomed families, friends, colleagues and neighbors at their open house on October 22, 2005. Dr. Anthony Prezioso is proud to say that he has recently acquired the dental practice previously owned by Dr. John Crowell. The practice has been in this location for almost four decades! He is delighted to announce that he is available to meet your dental needs at his practice. He eagerly awaits the opportunity to meet all of you here in the very near future. He is a general dentist and treats children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. In addition to practicing all phases of general dentistry, he offers teeth whitening, dental implants, solutions to loose dentures, halitosis (bad breath) treatment, snoring correction therapy, treatment for TMJ disorders (headaches), and non-surgical periodontal care. He also performs two visit “instant orthodontic” smile makeovers with porcelain veneers. He uses the latest techniques and dental materials to assure his patients are getting the best care. His dental lab is one of the best in the country, and he guarantees his work against defects and failures.
Dr. Prezioso would like to tell you a little bit more about himself, his family, and his practice:
I have been an associate in a private dental practice for seven years following my graduation from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. I completed a one year residency in general dentistry at Danbury Hospital/Yale University Medical School. I lived in Fairfield, Connecticut and practiced in West Haven and Orange, Connecticut prior to moving to New Jersey. After living and practicing in New Jersey for four years, I am happy to say that my family and I have moved back to the state we love most, Connecticut. My family and I are now closer to our family and friends that we missed so much and are residing in Chesire. My lovely wife, Ann Marie and I have been married for six years and have two children, Olivia and Alex.
I am fortunate and very pleased that Mary, Chris, and Eileen have agreed to continue their dedication and excellent services to the practice. I wish Terry and Ellen the best in their retirement. I also wish Ann well in her new job with the Cheshire Housing Authority. I am excited to announce we also have two new team members Ann Marie and Elizabeth, who have contributed greatly to our success. We all look forward to many years of service to the community.
Dentistry is a rapidly changing profession in many ways and I believe that continuing education is essential in order to bring you the best in current research, services and technology. However, I never loose sight that I treat people, not just teeth. Dental care affects people’s lives in a very personal and individual manner, and so the compassion with which care is delivered is every bit as important as the treatment itself. .
