Cherry Hill Package Store Moves to Pathmark Plaza

The Cherry Hill Package Store has relocated across the street to the Pathmark Plaza on Dixwell Avenue. On hand to welcome Cherry Hill to its new location were Mayor Craig Henrici, Director of Economic Development, Town Clerk Vera Morrison and other Town Officials.

The Cherry Hill Package Store carries a full line of liquors and wines from around the world. The new location is next to the new Home Depot at the corner of Benham Street and Dixwell Avenue. The phone number for the Cherry Hill Package Store is 248-8595.

The Cherry Hill Gang, Mayor Henrici and the Proto Group

The Proto Group (234-6371) negotiated the lease on behalf of the Cherry Hill Package Store with the current owner of the Plaza, Centro-Watt. The location of the store had been vacant for 15 years. "If not for Lou Proto from the Proto Group, this would never have happened. Their hard work on behalf of this small business was the main reason Cherry Hill was able to make this critical move. They deserve all the credit," stated Dale Kroop, Director of Economic and Community Development. The Town of Hamden also provided a grant under it's business incentive for the fit out of the store.
