Community Garden

Town Center Park Community Garden

The Hamden Community Garden was established in 2008 and has quickly become a favorite location for Hamden's gardening community. Last year the garden was filled to capacity, with many residents inquiring as to whether an additional garden would be established or if more space would be provided at the existing location. Mayor Curt Leng is requesting input from residents regarding the possible construction and siting of a second community garden, and requests that all recommendations or suggestions for suitable locations be sent to Deputy Chief of Staff, Patrick J. Donnelly, by email. Further details regarding the possibility of a second community garden will be provided after review by Town administrators.
