"Notable Trees" Monthly Series

Each month, the Hamden Tree Commission selects a "Notable" tree from a location here in Town. Together, our residents and commission members are highlighting the natural beauty of Hamden. The series began in September 2016 is downloadable via the drop-down menu below.

If you have a tree you would like to nominate, please send its location, an image and a few sentences describing the tree and what you think makes it notable via email to Alexa Panayotakis. Please include your name, address, email and phone number as well.

Or you can mail your nomination to the Hamden Tree Commission care of the Mayor's Office located at:
Hamden Government Center
2750 Dixwell Avenue
