Hamden CERT Supports Food & Toy Drives for the 2021 Holiday Season!

We just received a nice thank you from Our Friend Santa, who thanked our Hamden CERT Members for spending the day with him today! We spent 8 hours with him this Saturday, at our Annual Holiday Toy/Food Drive at the Hamden Mart & then went over to meet all of his favorite children, as he was escorted by Hamden Fire Department to Town Center Park. It was our honor to support the Staff of Hamden Community Services and the Hamden Volunteer Firefighters during one of 3 Holiday Food Drives. At Town Center Park, the children were so happy to say Hi to Santa and give him their Christmas Gift Lists!

That Jolly Guy in his Red Suit really put us to shame as he just kept on going all day and left us in the dust! He said that he’ll be back to see us again in two weeks on December 18th! "Make sure to stop by & make a donation, so that he can put you on his Nice List!"

On June 17th & 18th 2021 our Hamden CERT Members were honored to support the “Hamden Middle School, End of Year Celebration” over the last 2 days. Congratulations to the Middle School Staff for an outstanding program that paid tribute to the students over 2 days in 4 separate sessions. 

The Staff produced a great program, honoring the students who will be moving on to the high school, next year. We congratulate the students and wish them and the staff a fun filled, safe summer!
