Service:

The Keefe Community Center, in partnership with the Diaper Bank of Connecticut, provides diapers, menstrual supplies, and incontinence products to Hamden residents. 

Eligibility:

The Hamden Diaper Bank is open to Hamden residents - you will be required to provide proof of residency. To obtain diapers, please call Sharon Jones at (203)  562-5129 ext. 1126 first to find out which personal documents are required before coming to the diaper bank. 

DIAPER DISTRIBUTION DATE AND TIME:

9:00am - 2:00pm every third Thursday of the month 

DONATION INFORMATION: 

Donations can be dropped off at the Keefe Community Center Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Diaper / Menstrual product drives are welcome! To donate diapers, menstrual products or incontinence products for children and adults, please call Sharon Jones at (203) 562-5129 ext. 1126.

Items always needed as donations: 

  • Diapers of all sizes
  • Incontinence products for children and adults (Pull Ups)
  • Wet wipes
  • Canned baby food and formula
  • New and unwrapped baby toys / learning products 
  • Children's books 
  • Baby blankets 
  • Gift cards
  • Dignity Bags:
    • Dignity Bags contain a month’s supply of shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush. Packs for females can include sanitary pads and tampons. Packs for men can include disposable razors and shaving cream.
