Hamden Community Services works with the community every year to ensure Hamden families enjoy Thanksgiving without the worry of where their holiday meal will come from through generous donations by dedicated residents like you.

1. How to receive a Thanksgiving Meal basket:

Any and all Hamden residents are eligible to receive a Thanksgiving meal basket. Proof of Hamden residency and family size is required. No pre-registration is needed. 

Come to Keefe Community Center at 11 Pine St/19 George St on November 16th at 12:30pm with two forms of identification. First come first serve until we run out.

2. How to Donate Food to the Thanksgiving Food Drive: 

Monetary / Food donations can be made by arranging a drop off with Community Services Program Specialist AnneMarie Karavas at 203-562-5129 ext. 1113. If making a monetary donation, please make checks payable to "Community Services Gift Fund".

Hamden Food Bank Donations
Hamden Food Bank Donations benefits the running of the Hamden Food Bank within our Keefe Community Center. Your donation helps to alleviate food insecurity for Hamden families by providing shelf-stable non-perishable foods and fresh meal kits when available.

Community Services Gift Fund
The Community Services Gift Fund benefits the Hamden Food Bank, the Diaper Bank, and other social services needs for members of our community.
