The weather has been unkind to our Farmers Market this summer. We tried to hold out on cancelling as long as we could today to see if the rain would hold up but it just isn’t going to. We are keeping our vendors home and out of the rain tonight but that doesn’t meant you can’t still learn more about them. Drummerboy Coffee is a Hamden based coffee business specializing in Puerto Rican Coffee, processed here in CT, Yellow House Honey is a Hamden Apiary that uses their Hamden Honeybees’ wax and honey to create artisanal honey products, IzzyFit Training is a new Hamden-based personal training organization, The Spring Glen Garden Club is Hamden’s very own Gardening Club, The UCONN Master Gardener’s Program is an academic-based Mastery gardening program out of UCONN, The BQE is an artisanal photography and jewelry company offering hand made jewelry made from the actual photographs she takes, Bussa Orchards is a fruit orchard that has been growing fresh Apples, Peaches, Plums and Pears since 1906, and Amelia’s Farm and Florist is a local farm and garden center offering a multitude of fresh veggies and flowers. While we can’t bring them to you live and in-person today, we encourage everyone to take a minute to look them all up to learn more about how they make our own little Farmers Market special every Thursday (when it’s not storming out at least).
