Town Offices Closed;
Trash & Recycling Pick-Up Delayed

Hamden – Town officials would like to remind residents and staff of the following holiday information.
All town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, in observance of Independence Day. They will reopen on Wednesday, July 5th at their regularly scheduled hours. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.
Trash and recycling pick-up for Tuesday, July 4th will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week due to the Independence Day holiday. The pick-up normally scheduled for Tuesday, July 4th will occur on Wednesday, July 5th and so forth, culminating in Friday's pick-up taking place on Saturday.
