Tonight’s Summer Concert Moved to
Hamden High School’s Auditorium
The Bernadettes and The Timmy Maia Band
Hamden – Town officials would like to make residents aware of the following changes due to the anticipated inclement weather for the evening of Friday July 14th, 2023.
The summer concert beginning at 7:00PM with the opening act, The Bernadettes, followed by the main act at 8:00PM, The Timmy Maia Band, will now take place inside the auditorium of Hamden High School, 2040 Dixwell Avenue with ample free parking onsite. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Food or drink is not permitted inside the auditorium.
Enjoy the smooth sounds of The Timmy Maia Band, a native of Waterbury, CT bringing hits from today’s Top 40, jazz, classic rock and pop to Town Center Park with his extensive musical repertoire. He will take you on a soulful journey with his incredible sound and energy. The opening act is R&B, Funk, Soul & Eclectic dance and show band, The Bernadettes with an emphasis on classic "old school" R&B, representing beloved, timeless classics with a memorable performance.
The Hamden Free Summer Concert Series is presented by the Hamden Arts Commission and Hamden’s Department of Arts, Culture, Recreation and Wellness. The Hamden Free Summer Concert Series is held in cooperation with 94.3 WYBC, Hamden Parks Department, Hamden Public Works, Hamden Police Department, Hamden Fire Department, CERT, and the Mayor’s Office.
