Join us for this workshop on Saturday, November 18th at 11am as literary agent Jan Kardys provides an insider's view of book publishing. She will share such topics as correct formatting, editing, finding a literary agent, negotiating a publishing agreement, the various departments within a publishing company, self publishing vs. tradition book publishing, subsidiary rights, marketing, how to utilize the most cutting-edge technologies and the importance of using social media services to increase visibility to literary agents, publishers and readers alike.     Skeptical novelist Charles Condomine (Rex Harrison) invites self-proclaimed medium Madame Arcati (Margaret Rutherford) to his home for a séance, hoping to gather material for a new book. When the hapless psychic accidentally summons the spirit of Condomine's late wife, Elvira (Kay Hammond), his home and life are quickly turned into a shambles as his wife's ghost torments both himself and his new bride, Ruth (Constance Cummings). David Lean directed this adaptation of Noel Coward's hit play. This 1945 film is "considered notable for its Technicolor photography and Oscar-winning visual effects in particular."
